Now, where were we? Oh, earlier I was mucking about with the newly announced Backpack API and I wrote a crude PHP Class that wraps the said API so that you can access (and create) Backpack items from your PHP application in a few lines of code.
You can download it and look at it of course—It’s barely tested, but it seems to work okay with pages. Honestly, this was about 10 minutes worth of work, so don’t bust me if it smells in places.
Someone already beat me to the ruby version anyway.

Apparently you can’t link to your uploaded Backpack files (even when the referrer is Backpack).
